BRAKE REPAIR

Red brake pads on sport looking wheels
If you are hearing screeching coming from your brakes, this is usually your brake pads wearing out. Why take chances and continue driving with worn brakes when we just a phone call away. You should know a little bit about your brakes and the different parts associated with them. The brake rotor is what helps to keep the system from becoming too hot and overheating. Both the brake pads and the brake rotor are important to your entire brake system. In addition to hearing a screeching noise, the brake pad may go too far to the ground when you press on the pedal or your car may pull too far to one side when you press on the brake. These are all indications that something is wrong with your brakes. The screeching sound may get louder, indicating that there is a problem with your brakes and that it needs to be addressed as quickly as possible.

Brake Pads
One of the most common jobs that we perform is replacing brake pads. You can't expect to keep them in good condition forever; they simply are not designed that way. These small components are there for a reason. They help to stop your car. So just consider how often you press on your brake to stop or slow down your car. They are sure to wear out eventually. Some wear out sooner than others depending on how often you drive your car. If you are noticing that you are having trouble with braking, worn pads are one of the first things I'll check, as I know this is often the trouble. We don't expect motorists to know a lot about brakes but most know that without the right tools, it is impossible to properly replace them or make any needed adjustments. Since there are various reasons that you could be experiencing a problem with your braking system, we would need to perform a diagnostic test to determine the exact cause of your problem.
